	Exerercise HEAVY METAL is an annual heavy weapons shoot where the Regiment gets hands on experience firing the support weapons one normally finds in a rifle platoon.  Shown here are the 60mm Mortar and 84mm Carl Gustav rocket launcher.
	The current issue 60mm mortar is based on a model used by US paratroopers during the Second World War; the weapon is light, portable, and effective for firing a variety of munitions.
