Warrant Officers and Sergeants circa 1962

Visible in photo are RSM Dave Boyer, MWO Helen Kozicky, Sergeant Martin McCumber, and Heinz Winkel.  Front centre is RSM Dave Boyer (in kilt), to his left is WO I Sanofsky (in dark patrol dress jacket), also a former RSM of The Calgary Highlanders.  These were the last RSMs to hold the rank of Warrant Officer Class I; in the late 1960s the rank system was changed and the WO I was replaced with Chief Warrant Officer.
